Dynamic Duo Announce New Partnership

Michelin Starred Chef and Great British Menu Finalist, Alex Greene, and General Manager, Bronagh McCormick, the dynamic duo behind the successful Deanes EIPIC Restaurant, have announced their departure from the prestigious establishment to embark on a new hospitality adventure. In early 2024, they will be opening an exciting restaurant with rooms at The Bucks Head, Dundrum and expanding their current retail business, ‘Fish & Farm’ in Newcastle.

Diners can look forward to indulging in the exquisite flavours and warm hospitality of this countryside establishment. Expect farm-to-plate experience, with Chef Alex’s locally raised, ‘de Terra Shorthorn Beef’, alongside homegrown produce from his Dundrum farm. For those seeking a country retreat, thoughtfully designed rooms will offer guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy rural surroundings, in a comfortable and peaceful setting.

Their retail business, ‘Fish & Farm’, Est. 2019, will continue to offer local, fresh and seasonal produce from its fish and meat deli. ‘Fish & Farm’ will now expand, offering customers the opportunity to sit in and enjoy coffee alongside lite bites with friends and family.

Bronagh and Alex expressed their gratitude to Deanes, “As we bid our farewells, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had here and what we built together at the Michelin Starred Restaurant EIPIC. Michael, your guidance and leadership have been an inspiration throughout our time here and we are forever thankful.”

They added, “We are delighted to embark on this hospitality adventure together. It’s a dream come true for us, and we can’t wait to welcome you all in the new year.”
